Microsoft Surface 2 and Windows RT were both released in November 2017, and it looks like both have a lot of fans, with the latest reports claiming the RT is still running on some parts of its design.
But, a report from The Verge claims that Microsoft is not planning to release a replacement for the RT this year.
The report says that Microsoft plans to release Windows 10 Mobile instead, which would be the RT replacement.
The RT is a powerful computer and Windows 10 will be a major overhaul, so there is a good chance that Microsoft will have some plans in place for the next iteration of the OS.
This is likely to be something that will be announced later this year, but Microsoft should definitely be looking into the RT successor for the Windows 10 platform.
