I’ve always been a big fan of using simple ingredients to make my favourite curry dishes, but I’ve never been a huge fan of the spices that go into them.
It was one of the reasons why I’d made my own spice blends for years and I was happy to try them out for myself.
But recently I was asked to make some curry with my local friend.
I wanted to try something a little different so I decided to try making my own curry using the spices I already had in my spice cabinet.
In fact, I didn’t even have a spice cabinet in the first place so I used my spice rack instead.
This dish was an easy one to make because the spices you’ll be using are simple to work with.
Instead of just using the regular curry spices like coriander, cumin and fennel, you can make your own with a few spices that are more commonly used in curry.
First, you’ll want to get your ingredients ready.
These spices are easy to use.
Use a food processor to chop the ginger and garlic into small pieces.
Then, combine the ginger, garlic, curry powder, ground turmeric and ground black pepper.
Then add the spices to a bowl.
Mix well and set aside to soak.
Next, you want to make the curry.
Mix together the coconut milk and water in a large pot and add the dried chillies, cilantro and a pinch of salt.
Once you add the water, the chillies will take on a slightly sweet taste, and you’ll know they’re ready.
Next add the chopped onion, curry paste, coriandra and green chillies.
Cook over medium heat for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
After about 5 minutes, add the ginger slices and cook for another 15 minutes.
Add the remaining ingredients and mix well.
Tip: You can also use a fork to stir the mixture into the curry mixture.
Finally, garnish the dish with chopped corianders and green chilies.
